Last time, we saw the completion of a massive cordon around Munster. The city was now completely

surrounded by a series of huge blockhouses,

which housed the 3,000 men comprising the Bishop Prince's army.

The blockhouses were connected by a massive wall,

which was large enough and wide enough to act as a road, ferrying supplies and

men between the blockhouses. This impressive construction now completely encircles Munster,

effectively cutting it off from the outside world.

As we saw in the last episode, Bernard Routman managed to send a number of essays and pamphlets
