Hi everyone and welcome back to the Faculty of Horror Podcasting from the Harrod Halls of Academia. I'm Alex West with Andrea Subisati and happy new year everyone it is January 2016. We hope you had a great

holidays and we hope you have a ton of new exciting things to do in the new year because we know that we do.

Yes indeed, definitely no shortage of exciting things to come. We'll have some announcements at the end of the episode.

But before we get into what we are going to do for 2016,

this is the time of year for any of our new listeners. We do this every January where we will go back

and mainly look at the episodes that have come from the year

before.

And this is because of you guys.

You guys provide such amazing insights and comments and questions and analyses of your own that we feel that this is a really great time to not only share some of these with the rest of our listeners, but also respond and have another think back on the stuff that we've talked about.

That's right. Now we do our very best to answer comments as they come in if it comes up on Facebook and we can reply quickly.

We definitely will, but a lot of the comments that we get are very insightful and analytical and well-informed

and we really like to take this time to explore them more fully and give them some airtime.

So there are a couple things off the top that have come up in a few or a lot of these comments

and emails and questions that we thought would be good to lay a groundwork with.

Now, with a lot of comments, and we recognize this,

that we do this ourselves,

there are a lot of really passionate listeners.

Sometimes you can be upset or, you know, confused if we didn't get something or we misinterpret something or we reinterpret something.

But that's not to say that anyone is right or wrong. This is part of an ongoing discussion and this is part of analyses

on things that are ultimately very individual and people can love and hate movies and both be right.
