Greetings listeners, this is the Faculty of Horror Podcast episode 33 on The Shining.

This is your co-host Andrea speaking, and I'm adding this little message to the beginning of

the episode because I'm afraid we had a slight technical

glitch in recording this episode. I think my mic was off or it was muted or there was

a crimp in the wire somewhere or something and as a result all of my dialogue sounds like

it's coming from inside a tin can. Now I've cleaned it up as best I could and made it

louder so that it's more audible but it is going to sound a little funny and we

apologize for that the only other recourse would have been to re-record which

would have really delayed the episode getting out and we wanted to get this one out

on time and before the holidays you could all enjoy it.

Once again sorry for the poor audio quality and enjoy the episode.

but does have to do with familial ties.

And what better film to talk about when it's snowy and you're stuck with your family

than Stanley Kubrick's 1980 film The Shining.

That's right, it's actually kind of strange in Toronto this year.
