Ali recently wrote a book called Master the Marathon. The forward on this book is by the one and only Des Linden who is the winner of 2018 Boston Marathon. Master the Marathon is a comprehensive guide to marathon training for women of all levels. Ali has been writing about running for years, she used to work for Runners World. She was on this podcast on episode 43 when she was working for Runner’s World. That episode is a great way to get to know Ali!
Ali is all about empowering women in the sport of running and she put so much time and research into this book. It gives you everything from the pre run stretches, strength training, the mental mindset, the nutrition, the recovery, and there are three different training plans in the book.
