Hey, everybody, welcome to you were born for this podcast with Father John Ricardo and Mary

Guilfoyle. We're a couple of missionaries at Acts 29. This is the podcast where we talk about

how acquiring a biblical worldview brings us great hope and the God who created and rescued

this world in order that you and I can be agents of

transformation and recreation. Mary, are you feeling transformed and recreated today in these

Easter days? I am. I'm a work in progress, Father John. Well, not me. I'm the finished product.

Are you at the full package? Yeah, I'm the full placage. You're done?

My gosh. I'm just a mess, but I'm making God for his grace and his mercy.

And this is the season, Father John, that gives hope, right, to all of us.

And renews our joy, and it's going to renew a whole lot of other things.

Yeah, and I think, you know, I love this extended opportunity in at mass to just dig deep into the acts of the apostles.

And that's really what we're trying to do right now in these Easter podcasts as well.

And so what is our topic today?

Topic today is, do we understand the mission of the church?

Oh, gracious Father, we just thank you again for all that Jesus has accomplished, both for us very

personally and for this world that you so love that you gave your son to rescue.

We ask that you would continue to come upon us in these days

as we soak in the history of the early church at Mass

so that we can better understand the mission of the church now
