And it's to talk about David Cronenberg, the Canadian Auteur, Baron of Blood, all around Canadian horror guru.

That's right, we wanted to talk about Gronenberg, we wanted to talk about Canadian horror,

so who better to have on then Paul Conluxplooitation Corup and we let Paul decide what movie we were

going to focus on and to that end Paul picked Shivers. Why did you pick this film?

Shivers has always been my favorite David Cornenburg film.

You know, it's not one of maybe his best films, but as his first film,

it kind of has a raw energy to it that I feel a lot of his later films don't quite achieve and I just think it's also one of his smartest films.

Even though the filmmaking quality of it is not quite as good as he started to get later on it really has a lot of

smart interesting ideas stuffed into this kind of low budget or framework.
