All right, folks, welcome back to another episode of the Human Performance Outliers podcast.

0:14.1

I'm your host, Zach Bitter, and today I have a solo episode for you.

0:18.6

This one is going to be a listener- listener generated question topic episode, but I am actually

0:23.7

going to keep it to a single question for this episode. And I'm actually going to build it out quite a

0:29.7

bit. So I've gotten some really good questions in after the last call I did. And some of them,

0:34.2

I think, merit full episodes. And it may be something I consider doing going into

0:37.5

23 versus kind of the more standard procedure of I had with these in the past where I'll usually

0:42.2

do three, maybe even four questions. I may just do a little bit more of a deep dive, spent a little

0:46.6

more time kind of researching the question and digging in a little further, especially on the

0:51.4

ones that I think that the listeners are going to be more interested in than others. So today's topic actually has to do with exogenous ketones. A little bit of a

1:01.2

precursor to this one. I'm not an expert or research scientist on exogenous ketones. So these are

1:07.1

things that I have done some research on, spoken to some experts in the field,

1:11.0

and will likely be having some of the experts that are at the forefront of researching this stuff,

1:17.0

as well as some of the researchers that are interested in it as well coming on down the road

1:21.1

to clear up what I talk about and add a lot more kind of science to it all.

1:27.2

But for the purposes of this, I think there's some cool things we can dig into

1:30.1

and at least get a primer out there on kind of the questions that have been coming in

1:34.0

around those.

1:35.3

And for those of you who are maybe new to it, are interested in like, what are these things?

1:38.8

Why would anyone consider using them?

1:41.8

Everything kind of in that sort of a framework.
