Summary

My long-time friend Braden Orgill (Active LDS, RM, Age 26, Married) shares what led up to him considering suicide, self harming, and how he was able to pull himself out of that dark space---which started with a conversation with a mutual friend Doug Cartwright. Braden, who is now a Keto Lifestyle Coach (check out https://ketowithbraden.com/), had great insights into ‘you are enough’, ‘own your own story’ and ‘finding peace and joy now’. Braden also shares falling in love with his wife Emily and how that relationship is built on trust, vulnerability, honestly and common goals---a beautiful love story. You can find Braden on twitter at @bradenorgill and IG @bradenorgill and FB at facebook.com/braden.orgill Thanks for being on the podcast Braden. You have a unique life mission to bring hope and healing to others. Thanks for having the courage to share your story.

for him moving into a much better space, which he is. So if you're suicidal, if you feel like

what you hoped it would be. Or if you're trying to help somebody who's in a dark spot or a

0:59.3

difficult spot, Braden has a story to tell and he's sharing it openly and publicly. And I think it

1:05.8

will help you. I'll just read a tweet. Braden has been with me on Twitter since high school.

And that was the focus of my social media a while ago.

But Braden's been with me on Twitter, and I'll read his tweet from

1:30.3

September 25th of 2020. One year ago on this day, I was researching how to make my suicide

look like an accident. Today I woke up next to my wife, played with my daughter, wrote a few chapters in my book, and had a coaching call with

1:47.3

one of my students and launched my new YouTube series. And then I'll talk more about that in this.
