Summary

The Yankees won the series against Detroit, but it definitely wasn't a victory to feel good about. Gerrit Cole failed miserably once again, this time having the worst start of his career, lasting only 1.2 innings after loading the bases walking the bottom of the Tigers' order. Something is mentally wrong with Cole and we think the only solution is for him to come on the pod and have a group therapy session with us. Joey Gallo continues to be an absolute disaster at the plate, seriously making Yankee fans wonder if he should just be cut from the team. The final game of the series saw the internet blow up at Aaron Boone's decision to intentionally walk Miguel Cabrera despite him being one hit away from 3,000. If you're mad at the Yankees intentionally walking Miggy, despite it CLEARLY being the correct play, you can go pound sand. Finally, we discuss the reemergence of guys like DJ and Sevy, and how good it is to see them play consistently. Outro song: Sunny Skies (via APM Music Library)
