| 0:26.4 | While we were away, I loved one of mine, asked where I was, I sent them the link and then |
| 0:32.7 | sent a message back and said, you know, I'm really proud of you for taking that time to |
| 0:37.8 | rest or good for you. |
| 0:39.5 | And I watched this immediate reactive response come up of this sort of shame or guilt of like, |
| 0:46.0 | oh my God, you know, are they being sarcastic? |
| 0:48.7 | Do they really mean that? |
| 0:50.6 | And I felt guilty for a moment that I had taken time away. |
| 0:53.1 | We were gone for three or four days. I didn't bring my computer. |
| 0:56.5 | I only worked a little bit from my phone. |
| 0:59.0 | And while I watched that reactive response come up, I also was present with myself in |
| 1:04.9 | that moment and realized just how full circle really my relationship with rest has come. |
| 1:11.6 | And how grateful I am to be in the presence of allowing rest and also now taking that |
| 1:18.3 | acknowledgement from this loved one of saying, you know, good for you, I'm really proud of you. |
| 1:23.6 | And changing and reframing my response to, I'm really proud of me too. |
| 1:28.5 | Because at this point too, that rest and this weekend away, while it was, yes, very |
| 1:33.7 | restful and very rejuvenating and I'm very grateful for that, it was also so necessary. |
