0:29.0	And that is the Society for Education and Anesthesia.
0:32.0	I really have made education a central part of my career.
0:35.9	And C has been C, being a society for education,
0:38.3	anesthesia has really been a part of that the whole way. It's given me so much. I'm so grateful
0:42.1	to the organization and the people I've met through it. And people come to me all the time and ask,
0:46.6	how can I get more involved in education and anesthesia? This is what I want to do. And I'm always
0:50.8	surprised they haven't heard about C. So we are going to talk about C with some amazing people today, and you're going to get to learn more about it and how you can get involved if you want. And so I have with me first, Dr. Franklin Cladis, who's a professor of anesthesiology and perioperative medicine and is anesthesiologist in chief at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. He's also the president-elect of the organization. That's the Society for Education and Anesthesia. He's been a member since 2003.
1:14.7	I also have Dr. Meredith Kingeter. She is an assistant professor of anesthesiology. She practices
1:19.1	both cardiac and liver anesthesia. And she's the associate program director of the residency
1:22.8	program at Vanderbilt. And she's been a C member since 2017, and she's the chair of the membership
1:27.6	committee. And I have Dr. Bridget Merriquin, who is an associate professor of anesthesiology at the
1:32.1	University of North Carolina hospitals. She arrived in North Carolina only just last fall,
1:36.2	after 10 years at the University of Vermont, where she was vice chair for education and the
1:39.9	Associate Residency Program Director, and she completed a master's in health professions education
1:43.8	more recently in 2022. So all people really interested in education who have been members of
1:49.0	and really feel strongly about their connection to see as am I. And we're going to talk about it
