over a month old, and I say that because I am working with intense sleep deprivation,

which is actually an episode worthy in and of itself to talk about how to bring mindful

awareness to the state of being sleep deprived.

So today I want to talk about the soul.

And that can be a complicated term.

We're going to work our way up to it.

And I'll let you kind of decide for yourself what is meant by the soul.

But I want to start somewhere kind of basic and hopefully relatable.

I remember when I was in fourth grade, there was a new computer lab at my elementary school,

and it was like so exciting that we were going to

learn how to use computers. I was educated, came of age in the 80s, so computers were still

very much these obscure contraptions that the average householder had never seen.

In the afternoons, we'd go into our typing lab.

We were learning how to type on the little cordy boards.

And I remember this was a common experience in my youth.

I'm a lefty, and all of the mouses on the computers were hooked up to the right sides of the computers and kind of wired in and, you know, just like the right-handed scissors, I had to make
