And I'm Sam Blackwell, and today we're going to answer a letter from somebody who feels like she has to make an impossible choice

Dear Sierra and Sam, I am in a hard place right now and I would appreciate any insight.

For some background, I am a 26 year old woman, she she her pronouns. I moved across the country a few years

ago with my partner, he him and I am now very far from my hometown. On the whole we've been happy in our new city. Importantly I am in the middle of a

professional transition and currently looking for work. In this transitional
