Hey, everybody. Welcome to You Were Born for this podcast with Father John Ricardo, Mary Guilfoy.

We're a couple of missionaries at Acts 29. This is the podcast where we talk about the Word of God and the first reading for the Sunday coming up at Mass.

And how it can just absolutely floor us sometimes.

And this is one of those weeks.

And Mary, I know as we sit down to record, you're just happy to be upright.

You've been, you came out.

You're like Lazarus.

You came out of the tomb after recovering from.

He called me out.

He said, Mary come out.

Yeah, I was a little bit down for like the last number of days, picked up something in our travels. And it took me out. Well, on behalf of the rest of our Acts 29 family, it's good to see you up and upright. And we'll just ask for God's forgiveness in advance for whatever goes

wrong here because I know you're you got a fair number of meds flowing through you and I probably

got a couple flown through me too. Oh and by the way happy Memorial Day. Oh a very happy

Memorial Day absolutely a huge shout out to all of our friends in the military who are actively

serving and to all of our vets. I'm thinking of Kevin and Sharon and Steph.

So many people that we could thank. So God bless them. I'm excited about, we talk about vets. Jesus

to me is like the ultimate war veteran after having endured all that he endured on our behalf.
