Hey, everybody. Welcome to you were born for this podcast with Father John Ricardo, Mary Guilfoyle.

We are a couple of missionaries at Acts 29, and this is the podcast where we talk about the Word of God, especially the first reading for the Sunday coming up at Mass, and how it speaks to us and encourages us and comforts us and challenges us

and does all sorts of things. Mary, welcome home. Holy cow, it's great to be back. It was great to be

away for, what, 15 days? We were 16 days in Vancouver, and we're so grateful for everybody's

prayers because God just did exceptional things and what a gift it was for us.

We talked to know last week about the revival and how exhilarating that was.

And we had a whole host of other experiences.

We just came off a retreat with Archbishop Miller and about 34 of the priests and the Archdiocese.

God just shows off all the time and we just

get to see it. Yeah, he does, Father John, and I've been chatting with a set of folks since we got

back and I said sometimes it's just hard to ascribe words to what you see God doing in your midst.

And when we got home just a couple of days ago, we flew in late. And I was up to

like 2.15 in the morning because there was so much on my heart. I just wanted to be still.

And I just wanted to recall everything. I want to hold it in my mind because it was so remarkable.

And so for all of you who have prayed for us over

this very lengthy mission, I think it's the longest we've ever been on the ground,

thank you so much because your prayer is the artillery cover. Amen. That makes the movement of God

so palpable and mighty. You know, and I love what you're describing right now because it's going to feed directly

into our podcast today.
