This week, we're broadcasting live from Gate 46 at JFK Airport discussing the 2000

supernatural horror film, Final Destination.

The film was directed by James Wong, co-written by Wong, Glenn Morgan, and Jeffrey Reddick.

The film initially began as an unused teleplay for the iconic television series The X-Files,

but was later rewritten and expanded upon into the film we know today.

While the film received mixed reviews from critics upon its release, it went on to become

a box office hit and would eventually spawn its own franchise.

With an interesting premise and elaborate death sequences, it's no wonder this film

has become either a guilty pleasure or a full-fledged favorite among horror fans.

What were your first impressions on the film?

I don't remember this movie very much at all.
