So what did you guys think of Annabel the first time you saw it?

It was okay.

It wasn't spectacular, but I mean, it was, it was okay.

I think honestly that was my biggest problem with it was that it was just all right. Yeah. There's like nothing. Now, they might have set themselves up for failure a little bit coming off of the conjuring and then going to this one. Because it's like, The Conjuring is a great film. It is. So you kind of have a lot to live up to. I think to have, as a review, is worse than it being like, this sucks. It was horrible, yeah. You know, because it's not really a matter of hating this film, because I don't hate this film. Right. It's just that I think what I expected from it, I didn't really get. And part of that might be because James Wan didn't direct it. I remember reading that at the time, what we thought was that James Juan was retired from horror. Like, that was it. Oh, wow. And that's what I recall, the reason why he didn't direct Annabelle. And so when he came back to direct The Conjuring 2, everybody lost their shit because
