If you don't mind whatever you're doing to listen to this show right now,

some of you put it up on the big screen TV, some of you go via phone. I guess the majority of you probably via phone. Whatever

device that you are using to connect with the show, I'd like for you to gather close to it just

for a moment here on this Friday to begin things here today because I want to tell you a story

that you might not be aware of.

Obviously, back at the beginning of this year, Georgia had its season come to an end at the hands of Ole Miss. And that was an SEC versus SEC Sugar Bowl, something we have not gotten very much.

Certainly in my lifetime, I guess it did used to happen some back in the older days.

But in my lifetime, that hasn't really happened to happen some back in the older days. But in my

lifetime, that hasn't really happened. It was really interesting to see Georgia playing this big

game in New Orleans, a place that Georgia has been a lot against another SEC team who has its

own history with New Orleans. Both these SEC teams about to do battle with each other. And normally,

many of you've been to these games, you know, normally when you're getting ready for the big SEC showdown, it's almost like the various fan bases have to be kept apart, that the tailgates can get a little too intermingled, and sometimes that creates drama. But if you were in New Orleans, you'll tell the tale of this, I think, yourself, you didn't have a ton of that with Georgia and Ole Miss.

Georgia and Ole Miss, I was walking up and down Bourbon Street what was a very nice day on

January 1st before going to the Superdome. Nice day at that point. Time changed, of course. But prior

to that, it had been a very sunny day, pleasant. And it was really interesting to see the Georgia

fans and the Ole Miss fans intermixed with each other, almost

sharing their pregame festivities with each other. There just wasn't a lot of bad blood
