There's really one piece of news we're still waiting to hear as far as

George in its 2026 roster is concerned. The 26 team overall is concerned. Georgia currently has

an opening for its outside linebackers coach. Not too long ago, Chedaro Uzo Derribe left that

position to go take a job with the Dallas Cowboys.

And so Georgia has been in the midst of a search for its next outside linebackers coach.

And here on this Monday, while it is not official and things could of course change. And there have been multiple candidates mentioned as a possibility for this job.

As of now, the name of note as potentially Georgia's next outside linebackers coach

is Larry Nye, recently hired as the outside linebackers coach with the West Virginia

Mountaineers. And it is interesting if this ends up being Nye, this follows a weird, not to say

weird, but it's an interesting pattern where Georgia has hired a lot of assistant coaches that

had just gotten hired somewhere else. James Coley, I believe, had just been hired at South Carolina

before Georgia brought him back home. Trey Scott had just been hired at Ole Miss before Georgia

brought him in as outside linebackers coach. This is one of those things where, listen, the

coaching carousel is always spinning. If you are Georgia, you got at some point in time flex your muscles. And so sometimes it means, listen, the coaching carousel is always spinning. If you are Georgia, you've got at some point

time flex your muscles. And so sometimes it means, hey, we need a coach that just got hired

somewhere else, but we're going to do what it takes to bring this guy into the fold. And

occasionally that has been what Georgia has been forced to do. And it might be doing that again

...
