that football is a very hard sport, you know, over the course of a long career, coach play,

are you going to have high moments, low moments, anything in between? And if you stick around long

enough, you'll almost be on both sides of that at some point in time. We probably saw Georgia

defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann deal with some of that at some point in time. We probably saw Georgia defensive coordinator

Glenn Schumann deal with some of that in 2025. This has been one of the heralded members

of Kirby Smart's coaching staff, had been one of the first guys, you know, charter member essentially

of the Kirby Smart administration here at Georgia, obviously been a fast riser to the point where

he was Georgia defensive coordinator. And in various points last year, if we're being candid,

we would say that the Georgia defense did not really look the way we'd come to expect the Georgia

defense to look. And, you know, the guy in charge of that defense, Glenn Schumann,

was probably taking some of the brunt of that defense, Glenn Schumann, was probably taking

some of the brunt of that criticism for fans. There was a point in which the, you know, often

always, you know, maligned Mike Bobo, some of the stuff that kind of would be typically said about him,

a lot of that was eventually said about Glenn Schumann, and, you know, he became in the crosshairs for fans in a way that

fairly or not had almost usually been exclusively reserved for Mike Bobo but then over the course

of the year the Georgia defense did get better had the rallying point moment in the fourth quarter

against Ole Miss and really I think stood up and gave Georgia a chance
