We have big news that admittedly is drawing a slightly different reaction than it perhaps would have in the past.

Yesterday, Georgia fresh off a visit from five-star running back, Camon Spell, got what I thought is pretty surprising news.

I didn't certainly wake up yesterday morning thinking we'd be talking about this, but Kimmon Spell off that Georgia visit does commit to UGA yesterday. Now,

there's obviously a lot to talk about as it relates to Spell and we'll get there, I promise,

but you really can't speak about any of this right now without acknowledging the fact that

the way in which fans relate to recruiting news has just

changed. I've talked about this plenty. I, as a fan who does this show, and probably a bit

of a reflection of that, look, you just can't be alive and observing this particular news cycle

and news cycles like it without realizing that even in like

the 11 year history of us doing Dog Nation Daily presented by serve pro the way fans used to react

to the big recruiting news the big commitments the way that exists now here in winter of 2026 it's

just a different kind of thing.

The reaction to the Spell news yesterday, not because Spell's not a good player, but the reaction was, I would say, a little tepid.

There was a lot of the online chatter of, well, wake me up when he gets to Georgia. We've seen this story

before. He'll eventually flip to, and you know all the usual suspects, the big spenders,

that he's supposedly going to go to. That reaction is just pretty prominent in this particular

story. And I think if we're going to talk about the entire universe
