Let me, though, begin with this. There has been something we've been watching early days of 26 about what I would think of as one of Georgia's, I don't want to say most important traditions.

They're all in their own way important. And this one, because it takes place outside the fall, maybe it's less important than some of the other classic traditions. But for someone like me, growing up, going to it every year, G-day, the annual spring scrimmage is something that I look forward to. It's something that I want protected.

Obviously, we live in a day and age, which there's a lot of change in college athletics.

We all know that.

And almost anything is at least vulnerable to some of the winds of change that are always blowing.

And G-D-A is one of those things that I've been a little curious about.

Part of the reason why we seem to see less spring practice, less G-Day, less spring games across the sport than we once did is because of the transfer portal.

And, you know, last year there is this, this, you know, spring portal window.
