I think this is shaping up to be a very big recruiting weekend for Georgia.

That may be the big story around the program here on this

particular Friday. Jeff Sintel gives us more information on all that coming up in a moment.

We are looking forward to it. As a lead into that, though, let me talk about the other way right now that you acquire talent.

Obviously, the lifeblood of Georgia for a long time has been high school football recruiting,

but it's still important to go out and get the occasional transfer.

Some programs, it's more than occasional. We'll give you more on that here in a moment.

But you want to supplement your roster with very good transfers, and it's interesting to see a couple of the transfers that Georgia has brought in have gotten some very positive attention here.

When you look at a ranking of top transfers for college football for 2026, for instance,

we're seeing a couple of Georgia Bulldogs being mentioned here.

And I wanted to highlight those two guys here for a moment.

In particular, I want to start with wide receiver Isaiah Canyon.

I think the Canyon coming over from Georgia Tech is a very interesting prospect for Georgia.

Now, body type-wise, he's different than the breakout guy from a year ago, Zachariah Branch.

But the same way that a guy like Zachariah came to Georgia probably didn't fully maximize his potential at USC, came to Georgia, did even more in a dog's uniform than he had done in a Trojan's uniform, and now he's a very attractive NFL draft prospect.

Even though it's a body type difference and a playing style difference, I think there is some hope that Isaiah Canyon, who also, for various reasons, including some injury stuff, has not maximized in the fact that he played with a quarterback that mostly ran all the time.

But I think there is some thought that Isaiah Canyon hasn't maximized what he was capable of doing at Georgia Tech.

And now he gets to come to Georgia to see if all of that can, you know, come to full fruition here at UGA.
