It's been a while since we yelled at each other.

But in person, it's even been longer since we yelled at people. I don't know if we're going to be yelling today. I hope not. I think we're probably common cause today. Man, my opening question is what I said off air. How screwed are we? Yeah. Well, look, I'm of two minds on that. So on the Trump administration, maximum screwed. So Trump, Stephen Miller, et cetera, are hopeless, right?

So they're on the warpath on everything.

Donald Trump's skin is at its thinnest possible point, and it was already paper thin.

So they're using and abusing everything to try to do what Trump always wanted to do.

Military in the streets.

Noah's allowed to dissent.

You know, freedom of speech my ass.

And he said he was going to eliminate Colbert and Kimmel and he just did.

And so he's thinking maximum bribes through the crypto stuff. Now, anytime anybody wants a merger, he says, okay, I've been libeled. I want 15 billion. Oh, 15 million. Okay, I'll take it. I mean, it's like a mob boss who's taking a Vig, right? Who's taking a cut on every deal. Like, you have to kind of get a paper envelope out and slip it across and go,

okay. And oh, by the way, I whacked my own guy. I whacked my own lieutenant, just like you ask, can I get in now? So there's as bad as it gets. The reason why, and you're not going to be surprised by this, the reason why I'm not despondent over it is because I'm seeing a ton of the right wing break, right? So, for example, Pam Bondi says,

let's do hate speech loss after Charlie Kirk dies, right? And then she starts pulling it back

within the day. Why? Because of what we said. Of course, they don't care what we said, right?

But most of the right wing was like, wait, I thought you told us we were against hate speech laws. Like I remember fighting against hate speech laws tooth and nail. And so normally what would happen, as we've seen over the last 20 years, is they go, oh, no, we didn't mean that. We never meant freedom of speech. We meant hate speech. You guys hate us. That's it.

We're banning all you and et cetera, right? But no, there was tons of pushback. And so that's why, look, guys, here's the thing. If we don't have any allies, you know that this is my opinion, but let's flesh it out, right? If we don't have any allies, they're going to steamroll us, right? But if we have solid enough allies on the right and the middle and the broad and the podcasters, then we can hold the line. And I think we're going to hold a line. I see them celebrating Kimmel's scalp, though, right now. Yeah. And all the stuff about free speech, free speech. It's like now they're like, yeah, we fucking got Jimmy Kimmel. Fuck you guys. Not to mention Trump, after Pam Bondi said that,

and she got some pushback. Trump came out and said basically the exact same fucking thing.
