The question should be asked, why are we risking a nuclear war over this issue?

It's essentially a regional issue.

There are people inside Ukraine who've been fighting for eight years.

I think the main reason is because the U.S. backed a coup and the new coup government,

which included some fascists, waged the war on Ukraine's Russian-speaking population,

and those in Crimea and elsewhere wanted to not live under that.

Keep me through and agree with that. Why are we risking a nuclear war over that?
