We are going to talk a couple of different times in today's program about SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey for various reasons that Sankey is currently in the news.

And as we're beginning our show today, Sankey on a Twitter X, what we want to call it now, a couple of minutes ago put this out here.

I guess Sankey does a lot of like book recommendations and things like that.

And so a book that Sankey sort of says that he's reading and I

guess recommending the rest of his followers here is a book from a guy called, is it Thusadidas?

I think it's like an old-time person, like philosopher perhaps of some kind. Thusadidas is how

you say that. I'm not very learned. So I'm not really sure. But I believe that may be Thusadetis.

The book is called How to Think About War. It's an ancient

guide to foreign policy. That's apparently the book that SEC Commissioner Greg Sanky is reading

right now, perhaps foreshadowing the fact that he believes as one of the important key leaders in

college football. We're sort of moving into a wartime in which everyone's sort of fighting for their piece

of the pie here in college football, whether that be program versus program, league

versus league or, you know, sport versus TV network, everyone is sort of divide all of this up

that Greg Sankey, you would, I think,

presume, based on that message there, is kind of preparing to move into a little bit of a war

footing, wartime footing.

We've said around here before ourselves that we think to a certain extent that's probably

true a little bit.
