If we are being completely honest with ourselves, we would probably say there is a little bit of skepticism at times about Georgia's

ability to recruit the offensive side of the ball as well as it recruits the defensive side of the

ball. And if we're just being honest, some of the reasons for feeling that way are perhaps well-founded.

We know that Georgia got very far down the process with five-star quarterback Dylan Raiole in the 2024 class.

He was a long-time commit to Georgia.

He moved to the state of Georgia.

And then at the last minute, he flipped back to kind of the legacy program there at Nebraska.

Georgia's top seven, I think it is, top seven signies here for the class of 2024 are all on defense. They're all

players you really love. You're really glad to have. But this class overall is sort of in keeping

with kind of what you've kind of come to expect from Georgia, which are the elite top level

prospects that Georgia signs in the given class, are likely to be on defense. And on offense,

it's just sort of a little bit different caliber of prospect. Now, fair to point out that while

that may be true from recruiting standpoint, at least when it comes to skill position players,

the actual results would suggest that Georgia is doing just fine. Georgia was second in the SEC

in points per game here this season, right at 40 points once again, the same way they were.

About two years prior to that with Todd Monkin.

So results-wise, there's no problem at all with the Georgia offense.

But from a recruiting standpoint, the kind of excitement, the pizzazz that you get from Georgia with defensive recruits, you know, typically always get when it comes to the offensive side of the ball. So that's sort of the backstory as Georgia looks ahead of the class of
