I'm going to be honest with you.

I think that Georgia fans deserve better than what they've gotten here this week.

I want to walk through the next couple of minutes for why I think a statement coming out from the SEC yesterday given to the Atlanta Journal Constitution was not good enough.

And if you're a Georgia fan, I think you're well within your rights to ask for more, even though you likely won't get it. People kind of want to make fun of you for even expecting it. But nonetheless,

we are not going to sit here and allow anyone to treat any of you like you're stupid. Frankly,

I don't like being treated like I'm stupid as a representative of the Georgia fan base overall. I don't want

any of us treated like we're stupid. But apparently, even though I am a pretty pro-SCC guy,

and I love the SEC championship, I'm very proud to have my favorite team a part of the

Southeastern Conference, apparently the leadership sometimes in a league like this is perhaps

no different than any other big organization,

perhaps falling prey to the temptation to believe that the people who are kind of below them are just sort of dumb and will accept whatever nonsense is shoveled in their direction.

Maybe there's an example of this.

Let me walk you through this.

So the Atlanta Journal Constitution reached out to the SEC about the controversial play

near the end of the first half in the game against Georgia and Alabama on Saturday, the one

where Isaiah Bond made a diving what appeared to be sort of miracle style catch.
