Here's your host, Brandon Adam. I am probably still in a little bit of a salty mood coming out the SEC championship on Saturday,

George's exclusion from the college football playoff on Sunday. That means with some of the topics that kind of come up on the show here right now,

I don't know that I am necessarily going to assume positive intent on the part of the people that we're talking about.

I think I'm going to be a little bit of skeptical about some actions from some people just because

I think in this current landscape of college football, that just seems to be the invogue point

of view to express. What is it that Ronald Reagan once famously said, trust, but verify.

I guess there's some of that with me here where obviously everybody

who's kind of in charge of the sport is probably just sort of doing the best they can. But at the same

time, examining their actions and examining the potential motive for their actions, at this point

time, I think that's probably worth doing just given how little trust seems to exist around the

college football landscape here right now.

So it is with that in mind that we look at the 2024 schedule that was released yesterday.

The Atlanta Journal and Constitution had this.

We knew it was coming at some point in December.

It did get leaked out there yesterday.

Most of this was kind of as could have been expected. Chris Lowe had already had some reporting on this and you kind of start piecing the rest of the games in there. And you're sort of left with what those dates would likely to be. But there are a couple of things that sort of jump out to me pretty much right away when you look at this24 schedule. So I want to give this to you here

right now. We'll put it on the screen. I'll read the dates to if you've missed it, but then we'll react to a little bit of this. It's Clemson to begin the season, August 31st. That's at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. It's Tennessee Tech the next week after that. First SEC game, of course, in Lexington against Kentucky. That's weird because it's Brock
