Katie runs for team USA Minnesota and she's running the New York City Marathon

this fall. She debuted the marathon this past January in a time of two thirty three forty one.

She also has a half marathon PR of 11027. So she is someone that if you don't already know who she is,

In this episode, Katie talks about her progression in her running career through college

and what her transition to professional running looks like.

Another fun fact about Katie is her husband is also a runner who runs for team USA

Minnesota and he is super speedy too. I believe his marathon PR is two thirteen.

So they're both super fast. They run together a lot.

Katie is also a reading interventionist at a local charter school where she lives.

And so she talks about having a multifaceted life and how that really helps her excel in running.
