Hey, good to be here Brian. So you know, for me, you know, you were my first guy I was really watched on on YouTube and you converted me over from a you know the standard of care and

A lot of people know my story I was gaining weight I was working out every day and you know just wasn't going anywhere

eating five times a day small meals and eating a lot of low-fat stuff right?

So I see you talking about intermittent fasting and going up on fat intake and how

Insoline resistance is a huge problem. And you're obviously we just did a podcast with you talking about that because it's

super important for people to understand that point.

But we hit a lot of resistance, not so much now as it was back when you were talking about

this for the last five years or so.

So what do you think is changing and why do you think a lot of doctors

are really hesitant to really talk about these kind of modalities for

treatment of metabolic disease? Well I think it's several things. First off, doctors just don't get a lot of training in nutrition.

So, you know, it starts through medical school. You don't learn a lot about nutrition you get the basic sort of

eat less move more you cut your fat it's all about calories sort of stuff and most of us

who are in practice I I mean, we train sort of, you know, in the 80s, 90s, the 2000s.

And for the most part, that's what it is.

And it's actually this whole calories I always think is

super interesting because you know we're all taught this like not just doctors but all everybody it's all calories in calories
