It just makes me laugh. I'm so surprised to find myself speaking across the world to anybody else and that anybody would be interested in what I have to say. It's really very very odd.

But anyway, let's make a start really. I think I'd like to tell everybody about all the problems that I had and the things that were confusing me because I wonder if some of those things are confusing doctors around the world.

So you're right after I started in partnership we did a

we did an audit which is a very modern thing to do then and there was 57 of them and in those days we called it sugar diabetes or maturity onset

because they were all older people and it really diabetes was not very interesting
