well, a lot recently around competitive advantages, those that we can control, those that we cannot control.

And I've been thinking about the boredom of consistency, embracing the boredom of consistency,

embracing the boredom of consistency.

And I recently ran across this article

and it's a quote by Kobe Bryant.

And it goes along with that.

Here it is quote,

everyone wants to be a beast.

Everyone wants to be the best.

But very few people are willing to do what it takes because what it takes is boring.

It's waking up at 4 a.m.

It's shooting the same shot a thousand times.

It's watching the film when you're tired.

People fall in love with the result.

But they hate the process.

You have to fall in love with boredom. You have to fall in love with

repetition. If you can find joy in the mundane work that no one else sees, the lights will

eventually shine on you. Close quote. And that's from the book, The Mama Mentality, How I Play,

written back in 2018. I love that. I think that's a great

message for today. If you want that competitive advantage to close the gap from where you are to

where you want to go, to increase the probability of success, one must embrace the boredom
