I've been thinking about competitive advantages a lot lately. I was asked by someone recently what it is that I do with the professional athletes and coaches and executives |

| 0:29.1 | Some of these competitive advantages are ones that we have control over, some we don't have |
| 0:34.4 | control over, some we're born with, some are environmental, some are psychological, physical, whatever it may be. But I want to start sharing with you some hidden competitive advantages that I see some of the best in the world try to execute and try to do. So one is to be unoffendable. And this really is seen with coaching staffs and executives, people who are unoffendable. |
| 1:00.8 | These are people who assume positive intent. |
| 1:03.7 | They don't attribute malice to someone's actions when it could be explained by incompetence. |
| 1:09.9 | They shed the victim mentality and they don't think that people are always out to get them. |
| 1:18.2 | Those that don't get offended easily, they protect their peace. |
| 1:23.4 | They're able to focus on what they can control. |
| 1:25.7 | They're able to focus on themselves. |
| 1:27.7 | And so if you develop this ability to be unoffendable, to not feel sorry for yourself, |
| 1:32.7 | to not play the victim, it is going to help you with that competitive advantage because |
| 1:38.1 | you don't waste time. |
| 1:39.6 | You don't waste energy. |
| 1:40.5 | You don't waste unnecessary maladaptive emotions or unhelpful emotions that hinder you from focusing |
