You don't even realize that you're evolving because it doesn't feel like

it because you're so focused on what's next, what's not working, who you need to be better for,

all the things you need to improve that you've stopped noticing what's already changed. You're

steadier in moments that used to rattle you. You're having

conversations that earlier in your career you used to avoid. You're leading with more clarity and more

care than ever before. But there's no trophy for that. There's no headline. There are no

articles. There's no stat line that says you're handling things better this year than you

have ever done in your career. So what do you do? You keep pushing. You keep critiquing yourself.

You keep raising the bar. But the truth is that drive to get better, if it's left unchecked,

it'll blind you to all the good that you're already doing.

And it's important because you actually need to see it, not for your ego, but for accuracy,

for growth, for your ability to measure and see that you are improving.

Because when you forget how far you've come,

you start to lead from pressure, a place of you have to do things.

But when you remember that you are progressing and that you're a work in progress,

you lead from present.

You're a little bit more present.

You're a little bit more, you have the growth mindset.
