want to hurt you, loss. Really don't know what's going to trigger that feeling of grief in any moment.

And a topic very important to my work, self-care.

This week's guest is Melinda Alexander.

I first got to know Melinda, of course, on the internet.

I was a little late to Instagram, but I wasn't really seeking anybody out.

I was just almost using it as like a journal or a blog.

Same, yes.

Melinda does the work of women and that is really the best way I can describe it.

She is a healer, she's an educator, she's an activist, she's a mother, she is everything.

I'm not an expert, this is simply my experience because of the way that I write and the way that I share it does become a facilitating thing with other women like awakening something and them to facilitate their own healing.

Her story about shifting from being broken to finding her pieces for herself and for her

son, it's just amazing.

It doesn't matter who I'm in love with.

If this relationship that I'm in right now does not work out,

I'll be okay because I have put in so much investment and time

and love and understanding to who I am and who I'm not that no job, no man, no friend defines me anymore.
