Well, hey there, folks. Welcome to a somewhat belated Monday afternoon edition of TBTL.

This is the show that just might be too beautiful to live. Hey, it's Luke Burbank, your host.

Sorry about the slightly funky recording. I'm down here in Los Angeles.

And I brought my fancy recording gear, but the fancy cable that I have that connects

to the computer was left in the small Maritime Village of Port Townsend.

That's no problem, though, because they have a CVS over there on Sepulveda right near where I'm staying at the custom hotel.

But I went and bought a cable and brought it back to the room and tried to use it, and it does not work.

Which is a good reminder that you should not buy your imaginary radio audio cables from a chain drugstore.

So anyway, I'm recording this directly into the computer, and I am giving you a lot of data on what we're going to actually hear today.

And that is a show that was taped in regards to Los Angeles. About a year ago, I'd been down here doing a red carpet thing,

where I was like one of these reporters, I guess you'd say, on the red carpet.

And it was truly a surreal experience. And so I thought tonight since we're having some audio challenges,

I will play you something that is hopefully entertaining and very much about this city of Los Angeles, where I will be for the next few days.

Tomorrow, Andrew and I will do the show together live from Los Angeles.

I mean, live, and then we'll record it, and then we'll, you know, upload it to the internet, I guess.

And then same thing on Wednesday, and Thursday, I'll be back in Seattle with the, wait, wait, don't tell me program at the Paramount Theatre.

And then of course, Saturday, this is a kind of fun Peter Segal from way away, and I are driving down to Portland,

and we'll be doing the live wire radio show down to Portland, Oregon on Saturday night, the 20th.
