and then we've talked about paying pastors hey on paying pastors i wish i'd said this is part of the

great commission i didn't say that the way the great commission you know everybody says great

commission good thing good thing good thing The very practical way it's gotten

done for the last 2,000 years, is by folks paying pastors. That's kind of, along with prayer and,

you know, the actual work of the preaching, that's actually how it's gotten done. It's local Christians

keeping part of their resources and giving it to a brother who's gifted by Christ to teach his word. That's how the Great Commission has been fulfilled for 2,000 years.

So we've hugely important topic.

We see elements of that in early church.

We see elements of that medieval church.

Well, it was in the stuff, it was there, yes.

And it was in the stuff Jamie was saying when we had that conversation because, you know,

he'd go to First Timothy and First Corinthians.

So it was in Paul's thinking. But I just, I didn't pull out and make that point.

I wish I'd made that point.
