Today you're listening to episode 159 and my guest is Stephanie Bruce.

She has been on the podcast before.

She was episode 130.

I had her on right after she won the peach tree 10k over the summer.

And I'm honored to talk with her again.

I've really gotten to know some of these nasolete athletes and their coach Ben as well.

And I was excited to get to chat with Stephanie after she had such a phenomenal fall.

Steph was training for the New York City Marathon this year and she ran and placed 11th.

She didn't quite have the race that she wanted to have and she decided what the heck I'm

going to pick myself up and I'm going to go for CIM.

Well, at CIM she placed 2nd and ran a personal best in a time of 229-21.

Now the crazy thing about this record is that she turned it around.

She ran this PR so quickly after New York but it's also a record that she had held.

So she broke a personal record that she had held since 2011 before she had both of her

kids.

So this was a long time coming and a really exciting time because it just proved how much

more she has in her tank.
