This is a seasonally appropriate episode as we head into the cooler months.

As we have cross-country skiing Olympic gold medalist, world champion, World Cup overall

winner, author, advocate,

Vermonter, and all-around great person, Jesse Diggins on the show.

Now, she's a Nordic skier, of course, but spends time on a bike in her super fun and rigorous

offseason.

And as much as this is a general talk show, we are, of course, often talking about bikes.

That is generally the central theme.

But there are lots of ways in which she fits nicely into the show.

Now, as a cyclist, I hope you are all familiar with the show How the Race Was Won.

This is some of the best YouTube commentary about how bike races were won.

It's hosted by Cosmo Catalano, someone I race against in college, and who has one of the most

astute eyes for tactics and cycling. So if you don't know how the race is won, please look it up.

And if you do, you know how terrific it is. And in the same vein, Cosmo produced how the race was

won based on how Jesse Diggins and Keek and Randall won the first American gold medal in Nordic skiing at the Olympics back in 2018.
