the role B vitamins play in our physical and emotional wellness.

So what is our nervous system?

Our nervous system consists of our brain, our spinal cord, and all of the nerves that branch

out extending to all parts of our body.

It functions as our body's command center, helping all parts of our bodies, our organ,

our brain communicate with each other.

It reacts to changes in our environment outside of our bodies, taking an information from

our senses, helping our body to regulate or to return to homeostasis, to feel when

there's a threat around and we need to do something, we need to fight or fight or flee,

and then allowing our body to return back to baseline to calm.

Our nervous system also takes an information from our internal world, where how our body

is responding to the changes in the environment around us, is our heart rate quickening,

is it slowing, is our breath changing in any way.

This is a process called interoception.

Taking an information from outside and from inside, our nervous system helps our body

determine what we need to do next.

How is our body responding to the environment, and how can I maintain safety or balance?

Our nervous system is also the center of all mental activity, right, because it consists

So all thinking, all learning, all memory is a function of our nervous system.
