This week, we're recording live from an

extreme haunted house in Illinois discussing the 2019 slasher, Haunt. Scott Beck and Brian Woods both

wrote and directed this film. They wrote this movie with no expectations of it ever even getting made.

0:50.7

And as they were writing this, they were also writing a quiet place. And I think that speaks to their talent and versatility. Haunt was released as a shutter exclusive and was met

I do feel like, and typically I mean, each episode that we've done so far, we've kind of

1:43.6

For the most part, yeah, it's pretty straightforward. Yeah. I do find it interesting because you can tell that this was low budget. Yeah. Right. But at the same time, JP, we had discussed before we started recording, there's a lot of quality visuals in this movie. Oh, no. Yeah. There is. Like, that's indisputable. It makes me wonder what distinction is made. I could very easily see this movie being released in theaters during Halloween
