Carter, my son-in-law, joined my husband Keith and me

as he dissected a podcast by Emerson Eggrich, the author of Love and Respect,

where a woman wrote in saying that she had been crying in the shower before sex every time, and that if she didn't have sex with her

husband her husband would treat her badly and Emerson Eckrich then gave some

really concerning advice. Well, so many people expressed a lot of concern for

that woman and I am thrilled to say that she reached out to me, she saw our

podcast, someone else posted it in a Facebook group that she was in.

And she gave me an update. You'll be very happy to hear that she's doing very well now. And she is going to be joining us and telling us her story of where she got to the

point that she was crying in the shower, the effect that Emerson Eggrich's advice had on

her and how she eventually got up the courage to

recognize that her marriage was abusive and get out of it. So she saw it even

though he didn't and I'm going to be thrilled to welcome her on in just a minute.
