A welcome to episode 1,304 in a collector series. We are here at the Friday

before the TVTLathon kicks off next week. And boy, we just couldn't be more excited about it.

We have lots of cool guests ready to go, including Ken Marino, aka Ron Donald from Party Down,

and millions of other things he's been in, a children's hospital, the state, what,

hot American summer. He'll be here chatting with us. Also Alex Borstein will make an appearance.

So she's Lois from the family guy. That's who she voices. She's also a part of Mad TV,

and a bunch of other things as well. And some other guests that we'll be telling you about next week.

It's going to be so exciting. We can't wait to spend that time with you and separate you from a

couple dollars, which you'll be hopefully giving to us to help support this here, a little imaginary

radio show. Speaking of the TVTLathon, the Friday night show that we're going to have at the

jewel box theater at the rendezvous in Seattle. It is sold out. Congratulations to those of you who

are Johnny on the spot, condolences to those of you who are Johnny on the Luke usually lies about

these things and says they're going to sell out and they don't, because in this case tickets went

pretty fast. So anyway, that's what's going on with that. What's going on with this, as in this

episode of TVTL, is that we are going to play one of our favorite interviews that we've done

of all time on the show. And it wasn't actually all that long ago. It's an interview with Jeff

Garland from Curb Your Enthusiasm. Now, maybe you missed this show when we originally aired it.

It was just a fascinating journey. Jeff Garland showed up. Maybe you've seen him on Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Maybe you're familiar with his work. He's a kind of intimidating guy. And as we talk about in the
