How does a marriage change? That's what we're going to talk about on today's

addition of the to love honor and vacuum podcast where we look at how to make

marriage into a passionate adventure and not a boring to-do list. I'm Sheila Ray Greguar from the To Love Honor and Vacuum blog,

and I am so excited because it's April,

which means springtime and new things,

and we are looking at some new changes that we can make to marriage this

month. That's the series that we're going to be doing all month. It's going to be

super practical, super fun, and I hope it's going to be super hopeful too.

Because what I truly believe is that God wants us to have

amazing marriages, but that most of the ways that we build those marriages are in the little choices that we make every day.

So let's paint the picture of what a marriage often starts like.

You know, all of us marry our best friends, don't we?

At least I sure hope you do.

I mean, you get married to this person

because you like being with them.

You really want to be with them.

You don't want to be apart.

You can't bear the thought of being apart.

You love being close to them. You have fun

together, they make you laugh. These are all the reasons that we walk down the aisle.

But what all too often happens, let's face it, is a couple of years go by and you don't feel close like that again.
