As you're hearing this, Nyle's just released the first Sheeke album in 26 years,

called fittingly It's About Time and on a boiling hot

summer's day back in late July of this year 2018 we had the incredible opportunity

to visit Nile at Abbey Road Studios in London where he was recently appointed chief creative

advisor and what an experience it was, Bry. It was quite a day. We spent an hour with Nile and he was

every bit as cool as we'd hoped he'd be.

I was actually trying to remember our first introduction to Nile's music and I think it was

when your sister Claire brought two sheik LPs back from a car boot sale.

I have no memory of that whatsoever. I think it was and you made me a cassette copy and

I had say sheik on one side and tongue in sheik on the other.

Amazing. Yeah, I've not long taken up the base so Bernard Edwards playing was just a revelation to me.

Yeah and around the same time we saw that vintage clip of them on VH1 doing Lefriek.

Yeah, yeah. I think Nyle had that see through Fendre's stress and then we went out and picked up the whole of their back catalogue on vinyl didn't we?

Yeah from Harry Records on Bold Street. I think we were keeping that shopping business back then.
