Today we're listening to episode 122 and I'm talking with Teal Borrell.

Teal is a returning guest to the show.

She was episode 58 last April 2017 and when we last talked she was days away from giving

birth to her first daughter.

Since then she has had a baby girl and she's run two marathons and most recently 14

months postpartum.

She ran an Olympic trials qualifier.

Now some of you may remember her from the first episode that she was on but let me just

give you a brief rundown.

Teal started out as a four hour marathoner and has worked her way down to a 242 PR.

She ran in the Olympic trials for the marathon in 2016 and has had some big goals since

having her daughter last year and just had a phenomenal race at the Pittsburgh marathon

just about three or four weeks ago actually.

She ran a 244 qualifying her for the trials once again so she will be back at the 2020

trials and in this episode I get to talk to Teal about postpartum training and what

that looked like and what her goals are for the future and Teal has just been one of

those guests that people have really been motivated by.

She set really big goals for herself really early on.

I mean she set the goal to qualify for the Olympic trials when her marathon PR was like
