Today we're going to be talking to Daniel Nishanian of Boltz Magazine.

For those of you who don't know who he is, this guy is like my lifeline during every

single election because he is on top of basically every election going on around the country.

I really don't even know how he does it.

I don't know how he does it either.

If you see like, the race just went from like 46.7% to 46, 47.6%, it's because he is

following it in real time.

He also does all the direct ballot initiatives.

So you know what's going on with direct ballot initiatives.

He's big on criminal justice stuff.

So he follows, he'll follow like judges, races and Tuscaloosa and you're like, how do you

know all this stuff?

Right.

And then I'll read the article about him and be like, oh, this is actually really important.

I'm glad someone will keep it an eye on, you know, what I'm saying is my lifeline.

Yeah.

So he's following, you know, school bridge judges are like all these local ballot issues and

elections that are super, super important.

And as you said, he's got a real focus on criminal justice reform.

And so I wanted to get his view on a lot of the right wing culture war directions that

they thought were really promising, especially in the wake of Glen Youngkins, when in Virginia.
