Hi guys and welcome back to the show. So about two hours ago, I shut down my computer. I was done

working for the day. I went and took a bath and I lit the candles and I just decided to kind of

shut down my evening and move into relaxation mode. And I picked up my phone and I started looking

at my Facebook memories.

And I love the Facebook memories because it just is kind of like a little timeline of our lives.

And I'm a big social media person, obviously.

And I use all my social media for my business.

So my personal Facebook page is all business stuff.

And I was looking at it.

And I was looking at three years ago today, 2015. So it was

today's October 10th. So this was October 10th, 2015. And all these pictures started popping up

from a trip that I took to Japan. I was in Tokyo. I went for the first time in 2014.

And that was right before, that was a trip that really prompted me to leave

my full-time job at MTV. I had been in MTV for a while. I was miserable. I was really considering

leaving, and I really, I made up my mind that I was going to leave, but I was still nervous. And my

brother said to me, he was working for Google at the time, he said to me, come with me to Japan,

me and Linda, that's his wife. Me and Linda are going to be in Japan. We're doing this month-long Airbnb sort of stay. We got our jobs to allow us to take time off and work from abroad. And he said, I will, you know, I will treat you to this trip. I know you don't have the money for it, you know, I was working at the time, but things were tight. And he said, I will pay for your plane ticket and you can crash in our Airbnb. You can stay as long as you want. So it was like, no, I'm not going to Japan. That's crazy. That's so insane. I had no desire to go at that time. It wasn't something that was like on my bucket list. And you know, sometimes when you're in a really

desperate state, you just agree list. And you know, sometimes when

you're in a really desperate state, you just agree to anything because you just want to feel

something that you're not currently feeling. Like you're like, I'll do it. I just want to feel

different. I'll just, whatever it is. And I'm not a great flyer. I don't speak Japanese. I speak a
