I'm your host, Lindsay, and today we're doing a special partnership episode with the Mormon Expression podcast.

I actually guest hosted their podcast last week, and so in place of the Feminist Mormon Housewives podcast, I am going to be playing the episode that I recorded there.

We record it in front of a live studio audience there.

So the sound is going to be a little bit different.

But we talked about a historical thing that I thought would be a good fit for Feminist War and Housewives.

We're talking about the Mountain Meadows meadows massacre which is a very hard topic

but we also want to talk about how it could happen to any one of us and sort of the culture of

violence and the danger when you follow something obediently without question so we did that for

Mormon expression I'd like to thank them for letting me guest host. It's a really fun podcast,

a lot rowdier, a little bit different format, so I hope that doesn't put you off. But it should be

a good episode. You can go check them out at Mormonexpression.com or come see one of their live

recordings. They do it every Tuesday evening in downtown Salt Lake City,
